The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB), has partnered with PersonalMed® in an effort to ensure the quality and safety of medications within the compounding industry. ACHC has an extensive background and experience in pharmacy compliance and accreditation programs for sterile and non-sterile compounding, infusion, and specialty. This partnership is vital for the credentialing of our network pharmacies and offers a range of resources to help pharmacies achieve PCAB accreditation.
All PersonalMed® member pharmacies must be PCAB accredited through ACHC. PCAB accreditation assesses the compounding process on a specific set of standards that focus on the quality and consistency of compounded medications. PersonalMed® believes PCAB accreditation demonstrates the level of performance and compliance expected of PersonalMed® network pharmacies.
